The Machu Picchu 2 Day Tour is a very comfortable experience of visiting the most popular place of Peru. It is an easy-paced trip to Machu Picchu incorporating scenic train trips, terrific views. There will be amazing scenery on our way travelling through the Andes. It will all be easy, simple and well organized.

One of the best things about the trip will be the train ride. There will be larger windows that display rivers, mountains, and green valleys. Aguas Calientes will feel unique and surrounded by nature. It’s the perfect place to relax before visiting Machu Picchu.

 

The second day will be focused on the sightseeing of Machu Picchu with no hurry. A guide will take us around the primary regions. You will both learn history in a very easy and interesting manner. This sightseeing will allow you to take your time.

The day will start with pickup from your hotel around 10:00 A.M. We will drive about 1 hour and 45 minutes to Ollantaytambo. The road will pass through beautiful valley views and small villages. The ride will feel easy and relaxed.

We will take the train around 12:36 P.M. or 12:55 P.M. The trip will take about 1 hour and 30 minutes. We will see mountains, rivers, and lush scenery along the way. This part of the journey will feel really scenic.

Once we arrive in Aguas Calientes, we will check into the hotel. You will have free time to walk around or just relax. The town is small, quiet, and easy to explore. It’s a nice place to slow down.

Around 7:00 P.M., we will meet the guide for a quick briefing. You will get all the details for Machu Picchu the next day. After that, the night will be free to rest.

The day will start early with breakfast around 5:00 A.M. We will take the bus at 5:30 A.M. to Machu Picchu. The ride will take about 25–30 minutes. We will arrive around 6:00 A.M.

The first views will be from the upper part of the site. Morning light will slowly reveal Machu Picchu. You will have time to take photos and enjoy the view. It’s one of those moments you won’t forget.

The guided tour will take about 2 hours and 30 minutes. You will learn about temples, terraces, and how the Incas lived. After that, you will have some free time to explore. Optional hikes are available if booked in advance.

We will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes. You will have time for lunch or a short walk. The train will leave around 2:30 P.M. or 2:55 P.M. Then we will return to Cusco by car and drop you at your hotel.
