We are visiting Ninamarca Chullpas first at 3,750 m. In this case, we will discuss the ancient funerary towers and know more about the first Andean cultures.
Then there is a path to Paucartambo, which had its traditions and colonial beauty. Here we will cross the Acjanaco Pass at 4, 000 m which is the formal entry of Manu National Park. The view is different here, now we are falling into the cloud forest. We can see orchids, ferns, and great trees with the help of walks stealing a moment.
The exotic birds may include wildlife sightseeing where the Andean cock-of-the-rock can be found. Later in the afternoon we reach Pilcopata at elevation 550 m and we settle in a fancy jungle lodge. Once the activity is over we go back to the lodge and have breakfast. The ride home starts with taking a boat to Atalaya. At that point, there is further private transport via Pilcopata and cloud forest. In between, one can get more opportunities for wildlife sightseeing.
